1.Who these terms are between
These terms are between you and Pleasant Life Chapel International, together with The Soul Factory Ministries, in Accra, Ghana. Our vision is the winning of souls by preaching the Word of God, and developing human capacity through the establishment of a subsidiary ministry, The Soul Factory Ministry, providing ministerial training to the youth. Our mission is to proclaim the name and authority of our Lord Jesus Christ to all the nations of the world. These terms cover our public website and the member portal.
2.Accepting them
By using this website or the member portal, you accept these terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the portal; you are always welcome to worship with us in person.
3.Using our website
We ask you to use the site and portal lawfully and respectfully. Please do not:
- post or send anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or untrue about another person;
- attempt to reach an account, file or record that is not yours;
- introduce viruses, overload the site, or copy its content in bulk; or
- use the portal for business promotion or any purpose other than the life of the church.
4.Your portal account
Portal accounts are created by invitation, and each one belongs to a single person. Keep your contact details accurate, keep your passcode and sign-in private, and let the church office know at once if you believe someone else has gained access. Access may be suspended where an account is misused or where a role is no longer held.
5.Confidentiality of member information
What you see in the portal about other members is shared for pastoral care, not for the public. Whether you are a member or a leader, please do not copy, photograph, forward or discuss another person's details, care notes or conversations outside the ministry responsibility you hold.
7.Messages and notifications
The portal chat is for the life and work of the church. When someone writes to you while you are away from the portal, we may email you to let you know a message is waiting, and your reply belongs in the chat where the conversation is kept. Administrators may review conversations where that is needed to keep the ministry safe.
8.Photographs and recordings
Our services, events and outreaches are often photographed or recorded, and some of those pictures appear in our gallery. If you would rather not appear, tell the church office and we will keep you out of what we publish. Sermon and teaching recordings are offered for personal listening and study.
9.Giving
Any giving we offer online is entirely voluntary. Where a third-party payment provider handles a gift, that provider's own terms apply to the payment. If something goes wrong with a gift, contact the church office and we will help put it right.
10.Our content
The sermons, recordings, teaching notes, articles, photographs, logos and design of this website belong to Pleasant Life Chapel International and The Soul Factory Ministries. You are welcome to listen, share a link and quote with credit. Please do not repackage, rebroadcast, resell or present our content as your own without our written permission.
11.Other sites
We link to places such as our social media pages and payment providers. Those sites are run by others and are governed by their own terms and privacy notices, which we do not control.
12.Availability and changes to the service
We may add, change, pause or withdraw parts of the website or portal as the ministry needs. We work to keep everything running, but we cannot promise that access will always be uninterrupted or free of faults.
13.Teaching and pastoral counsel
The teaching shared here is for encouragement and spiritual growth. It is not legal, medical, financial or professional mental-health advice, and pastoral conversations are not a substitute for professional care. Where you need that kind of help, please seek a qualified professional.
14.Liability
To the extent the law allows, the ministry is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or portal. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited by law.
15.Ending access
You may ask us to close your portal account at any time. We may suspend or end access where these terms are broken, or where it is necessary to protect members.
16.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms; the date at the top of the page shows when they were last changed. Continuing to use the website or portal after an update means you accept the current version.
17.Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ghana. If any concern arises, please raise it first with the church office, and we will seek to resolve it with you directly.
