This feeling of love is not tangible however, it is capable of touching people in all ways possible. It is also a feeling that speaks a language understood by everybody.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In fact, you can even move mountains with the emotion love. Yes! For love, it is possible for an individual to prioritize the needs of the one he loves over his. This is actually seen as a way of portraying what he feels. After all, the sacrifices would be appreciated better.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But think about this. If man; a human being, can make all these sacrifices for the sake of love, how much more God? One who isn\u2019t made of flesh and blood. Neither is He dependent on substance for his sustenance. A spirit!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>God\u2019s love for mankind is pure. It supersedes any other kind of love known. This love is known as the <em>agape<\/em>. That, which holds no conditions for what He offers. By this love, He chose to first love us even before we knew Him. <em>(1 John 4:19)<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In our walk with God, we have heard the scripture <em>John 3:16<\/em> so many times that even unbelievers are conversant with it. But unfortunately, it isn\u2019t regarded that much.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>\u201cFor God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.\u201d<\/em><em><\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This scripture has been reduced so much to a clich\u00e9 that we even cease to see the magnitude of the sacrifice made for us on the cross. Which parent of today, would be please to have his son die for people who have sinned against him? I don\u2019t think we can find any in this age. However, God did it. He allowed His son to lay down His life for us.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The death of Jesus means more than just an act of sacrifice. It was a gift. A gift of genuine love to the human race. So brethren, let\u2019s make it a lifestyle to always show love wherever we find ourselves. Love is a gift to mankind.
